Degrees Offered

Ekklesia Ministry College provides the following accredited seminary degrees through a blended learning process that combines weekly classroom discussion, individual reading and reflection, ministry experience, and in-depth mentoring:

Certificate in Theology or Ministry

This two-year program involves an intensive self assessment and discovery process that is paired with in depth coursework and discussion. This is an excellent starting point for people feeling led to grow and develop in ministry. Tuition is $100 per month for 24 months for Mercy Hill members, and $200 per month for non-members.*

Bachelor Degree in Theology or Ministry

A four-year program that includes the certificate's self assessment and discovery process along with extended coursework, ministry experience, and mentoring. The bachelor level is geared towards those moving towards ministry leadership or possibly vocation. Tuition is $130 per month for 48 months for Mercy Hill members, and $330 per month for non-members.*

Master Degree in Theology or Ministry

A four-year program that consists of rigorous self-assessment, coursework, ministry experience, mentoring, and leading others in theological education. The master level is best suited for those looking to lead others in ministry, particularly through pastoring, discipleship and/or theological education. Tuition is $130 per month for 48 months for Mercy Hill members, and $330 per month for non-members.*

Independent Study

Potential leaders interested in church ministry without working toward a degree may take independent study courses. Independent study courses require regular attendance and purchase of required texts. Independent students do not submit class work, but they will be required to complete a Personal Mission Interview and Self-Assessment Forms under supervision by a Church Mentor. Independent Students will receive a final commendation of either S (Satisfactory) or NR (No Report). Students who attend classes and complete mentoring requirements will receive a Satisfactory commendation, allowing them to enroll in additional classes. If students enroll in a class but do not attend or drop it, they will receive a commendation of NR (No Report).

Instructors may limit the number of independent students in a course and may restrict participation in courses inappropriate for independent study. For example, courses that by their nature assume academic competency (teaching practicums or language courses) are typically considered inappropriate for independent study. To enroll in an independent study course, a student must first obtain the consent of the Certified Leader. The student must follow the procedures established in the program offering the course.

*The spouse of a Mercy Hill member who is currently enrolled in the certificate, bachelor or master degree program may enroll in the certificate program free of charge so that they can journey and grow together through the assessments and early coursework.*
